WA’s best Christmas market takes over FAC for a three-day shopping extravaganza with more than 50 local artisans showcasing their wonderful wares. At Bazaar you’ll find unique WA-designed jewellery, fashion, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, textiles and more. The annual market runs from Friday night until Sunday afternoon and is the perfect place to pick up a one-of-a-kind gift for a loved one this Christmas.

Christmas in Claremont

Claremont Park
Family entertainment and the Christmas Market will commence from 4pm. Carols commence from 7pm. A sideshow of entertainment, kids activities food and market stalls. Then pull out your picnic rug and enjoy the music performed by the Claremont Concert Band. A special carols by candlelight will performed by the Australian Girls Choir and West Australian Youth Orchestra.

Perth City Christmas Projections on the GPO

3 – 20 December, 7.30pm and 21 – 23 December, 8.30am
Brand new animated projections will colour the facade of the Perth GPO building in Forrest Place each night after sunset. Electric Canvas’ award-winning large scale illuminations, custom designed to enhance the heritage building’s features, will depict Queenie the Quokka in Christmas scenes from around the world.

City of Perth Symphony in the City
Saturday 12 December, Langley Park, 7:30pm
Join an audience of thousands under the stars for West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s spectacular annual outdoor concert, made free to the community by the City of Perth. This highlight of Perth’s summer calendar will feature classical highlights and movie soundtrack favourites performed with the WASO Chorus, led by Principal Conductor Asher Fisch.

IGA Carols by Candlelight for Variety WA
Sunday 20 December, Langley Park. Gates open 4:30pm
Bring a rug and picnic and sing along to your favourite Christmas carols with friends and family under the stars at this popular annual Christmas variety show fundraiser. Join thousands of families celebrating the Christmas spirit, with a children’s show before the main concert. This is a ticketed event, with proceeds going to Variety – the Children’s Charity of WA.
